Picked up a new ride over the weekend, got it from Cali but it's an AZ car, no rust and it's not beat up it's real solid. Only thing is the front end, it needs to be completely rebuilt, of course I wasn't told that up front!. :banghead but I came out ok with it anyhow, just didn't want to do that much work on it, but I need something to do anyhow, right!.. :rolleyes  :laugh

Very Nice Art! :good      Looks to be in really good shape. I don't see any dents form the pic's. That front end work will be a snap. Not hard to do at all if you can find the bushings.

Great find! :good  :beer

Injected is nice, But I'd rather be Blown

Thanks Rod, Yeah, I looked at bunch of them and none came close to this one, and all were more expensive. There's only one spot on the left quarter but it's because it was repaired at one time and they didn't do it right!..  :beat Front end is nothing, you can get complete kits for them, I was kinda looking at this, pretty simple deal just bolt it on!.. :good

BTW, I thought real vintage air was 6 windows down at 60 mph. :good

Vintage air makes a great product.  :good  Used their unit in my 72 chevy P/U.
I still like the looks of the original beast, however.  :good

First place I looked was the tailgate and nothing at all, I was surprised I couldn't find any rust anywhere, that one spot is from a blotched up repair. It does need all new window seals and door rubber though!.. I'll pass on the plumbers tape though!.. :bebe  :laugh

Started looking into the front end over the weekend, and the more I dug into it the more junk I found, just about everything is original and wore out completely!. :banghead So, since I'm buried in this thing I may as well do it "right", so tubular A arms, a rack and disc brakes are replacing the stock weak stuff!.. :good

Yes it will, it's a 4 lug now but will be 5 when it's all done!. I wasn't going to do this at first, but when I started pricing all the parts that it needs to rebuild it stock(with "good" stuff)and still have a weak suspension that won't last, this don't cost much more and will last a long time, so over the long run it's not really more expensive!..Oh, and not to mention spending a $hit load of hours trying to clean 47 years of crud build up, when the oil filter was changed the spillage on the frame was never wiped up!..  :eek  :eek  :rolleyes  :laugh
