I got a call from Caps Brite Coatings yesterday and my tunnel ram is done :good  I just sent it to them about a week ago and they're done already :good   It should be here today or tomorrow.  I can't wait!   I've seen some stuff done by them and it's awesome!  Total price with shipping for them to do my Edelbrock Victor Ram 2R was $192.00.  I'll post pics when it arrives

They are in Fresno.  Did you see Tony's (Scarlata) headers on his new boat out at needles?  Those were coated by Cap's.

Yeah they did. :good   Andsince it is actually a ceramic coating with silver in it, it helps keep the temps down.  Cooler headers = more HP.  Cooler fuel going through a Tunnel Ram = more HP. :D   And this stuff won't blue or peel like chrome does.

Yeah I need to get my headers done, they are grosse from not running water through them! :puke Jet-Hot told me $250 to do mine if I take the chrome off, they are right down the road from me!.. :good

I got my headers coated with a similar if not the same coating last summer.  It saved me from buying new headers to replace my blued ones AND they perform better as well. :good

Nope!   It was As cast from the factory.  Are you kidding me?  I'm too f'ing lazy to polish something :rotflmao  :rotflmao   That was the one that I posted about a few months ago trying to decide whether to chrome or polish.  Well, I went with Cermakrome :good

Cool, I still have mine I think I'll get it done since I think I'll be using it on the GN boat, I think I'm going to go the turbo route instead of a blower, this way it has a built in muffler system!.. :good  :good

Good thinking :good   The new laws in California are gonna have the muffler cops out all over the place soon enough :rolleyes  :beat .  Turbo does sound like a good idea.  Wonder how it would pull in a Biesemeyer :confused  :D   Probably not as quick coming out of the turns but more efficent in the straights....and definitely quieter

Yeah, I've heard that they pretty much got Red Rock shut down to the Hot Boaters.  Just PWC's and the Big Boats there I heard.  That sucks.

Looks like I'll be sending alot more to Cap's this year.  Rebuilding the 476ci BBC for some boost (turbo or Blower  we're not sure yet), and since I like the look of what Caps did with that tunnel ram, we'll be doing alot of the parts on the motor with Cermakrome.
