7-730 is ok with me. We got the 468 ready to unbolt the mounts and pull it out. headers and intake are off, all lines and hoses disconnected.
The 476 Will only take about 45 minutes to take out....done that a few times already

The thing that will take the most time is swapping parts over between the 2 motors.....All in all, I'd say completely done by noon or so, meaning a day on the lake tomorrow???

sounds good buddy do i need to bring anything tools etc JC's boyfriend is coming he's a good point and click type of guy a hard worker cant sit still does that sound like anyone we know?

I had a helluva time finding my tools today....maybe I'll go out around 6am and start getting all of my tools together. I'm thinking that most of them are sliding around in the back of my truck.
Oh, BTW, I will have a slight interruption tomorrow. I'm having my 1959 Willys 4X4 Station Wagon Delivered tomorrow

Not yet ARt, still waiting on TopCat's motor. Tomorrow we are taking the engine out of the Biesemeyer and putting it in the Jet. The current engine that is in the Jet is going on a engine stand in the garage for some "new" parts

. The engine-less Biesemeyer is going inside my newly created, fully enclosed, carport. The next time it sees daylight, I'd be willing to bet that some little elves showed up while it was being "stored" in there and they grinded and sanded the floor down to the wood. At that point, I might just as well take it to Sangster for my new Carbon Fiber floor. :good

All the while with this going on by the "elves" outside, the "tooth fairy" is gonna be building an engine in my garage. :eek

you know all i ever hear on these forums is chevy guys talking about rebuilding their engines hav you notice you dont hear the Ford and Mopar guys saying i hav to rebuild my engine again this year doesnt that make you chevy guys think you mite b doing something WRONG... i guess some will just never learn /one day Ford will rule the universe well maybe not the whole universe, why do you think the sky is blue... cleaning engine parts in gas doesnt count and besides most knowledgable and experienced people own ski sanger or malibu barbie boats we're a dying breed or just crazy but i've always said crazy can be fun

Hey TopCat, Thanks for all the help today. I'm drop dead tired and hurting like hell but something tells me that I'M gonna have all day tomorrow to get past the tired thing. I'll be lucky to make it outta bed tomorrow :rolleyes

No boating tomorrow for me and don't forget, I will be in New Mexico next weekend. Let me know how your boat is going up in Auburn. Tell that dude to get on it and get it done so we can get that engine in. I think ya need to set a goal...Let's see, how about your debut on Father's Day???

Well, yes and no. Â Yes, we pulled 2 motors yesterday and installed 1. But they were both mine. Â We put my 468 from the Biesemeyer intoo the Jet, and the 476 out of the jet boat is sitting right here next to me in the garage awaiting some "new improved" parts

Â I still have to hook up all the plumbing and install the fuel sysem in the Jet Boat, but I don't think that's gonna happen today.

) and then TopCat took his boat with him and will be taking it in to his painter. Â I have still not seen TopCats motor and am starting to wonder if he really has one :bebe

Â We did have a slight interruption yesterday though when my new Willys Wagon was delivered. :good

And, as predicted. I can barely move right now. Â Took 15 minmutes just to physically get out of bed and 10 minutes to walk down 14 stairs. Â Damn I hate back injuries! :angry

Â I really wanted to test the boat out with this motor but that ain't gonna happen today, guaranteed

Oh well, guess I'll just lay down and watch the Sac Kings game...They gotta win the next 2 games so they can make it to the west championship against the Lakers, who eliminated San Antonio yesterday. Â The Kings are my team and TopCat likes the Lakers (What do you expect from a Dallas Cowboy fan :laugh

)
