Whipple vs. Pro Charger
Pro's & Con's on both would be helpful.
For a 6.2 MPI motor with a Bravo 1

I say Whipple. I have one on my 2006 Mustang GT, and it whoops ass all over the centrifigul s/c's. With a twin screw, there is no lag as there is with a cent. s/c. Boost is constant across the whole rpm range. With a cent., boost is achieved only at higher rpm's. Also, the Whipple has it's own internal oil supply, unlike the cent. which requires tapping into the oil pan.
Here is a link to the Whipple S/C for your engine: http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/product.asp?ProdID=1217

Well I've never used either one, but with all the hype you hear about the two claming to be the best, I have to agree on the Whipple instant power no lag, and the fact you don't contaminate the engine oil!.. :good

Thanks to both of you. I just plain can't deal with that lag time. And the fact that I'm keeping my RPM's at less than 5,000, I'd miss the top range on the cent. Of course being self lubed is a big big plus. Guess the choice is pretty simple.
Thanks Again.
BTW, Obgyn, i just gotta get a pic of that boat.

And I thought the boat was nice. That little Mustang is just plain and simply Bitch'n. Carroll Shelby would be proud.

I'm a little late on this, But had a whipple on a 92 chevy dually, put over 100k on it and the motor With no trouble. Ran about 8lbs boost  and helped wake up the towing. not as flashy as the stang though. nice ride. :good  :good

ran good, great throttle response, quiet, also less plumbing.  :good

P.S. will the drive handle the extra ponies???????? :confused

The Bravo can handle the extra HP, I checked that out first.
To much HP, I'm thinking no such thing.
They owner of the hotel I stay at has requested that I not start my motor before 9AM due to all the complaints.
