Of course, you could also pull what I did and leave the straps on holding the transom down on the trailer, and float the trailer too :rolleyes

Did that this past year and couldn't figure out why the boat wouldn't get the hell off the trailer when launching it. I think it was a severe :drink

You think that's embarrassing try this, this is at a race(everyone is watching)not expecting it they announce that they have some time to kill so if anyone wants to make a tune up pass, get to the ramp NOW!. So now it's a crash program to get ready to run, working on it as we tow to the ramp, launch throw it in gear, fire up and on the go fast pedal, RPM's to the moon and don't go nowhere!!!!.. Yep that's right, forgot to put the prop on!.. :banghead

That's a classic! :good

I like the one my buddys pulled off up at Lake San Antonio....similar, but with a twist.

They had been wrenching on the boat at the campground, bragging about the sweet new prop they got. It had just been delivered before they made the trip up.

Dropped the boat in the water, one guy in the boat, one in the truck. Guy in boat floats back from trailer, fires it up, throws it in reverse, slams into trailer!! :beat

Wrong way twisty thing. :laugh

Took him 3 tries to come to that conclusion!!! :banghead
