OK folks here is where I stand on this here project.
As you all know I got everything apart with no problem. I fed the new cable housing through but could not locate it. After several attempts to feed it through, it got hung up. But I still could not see it inside the boat. After many tries to free it, I ended up pulling the steering so I could see behind the motor. I now could see the cable and it was heading towards the port side of th engine where it should have been going to the starboard side. No matter what I did I could not get the cable loose. Today I did what I did not want to do but cut the cable. Once I cut through it, It took the pressure off the cable and it all came out. Untill I have the housing routed and setup the way it supposed to be. I'm leaving everything apart.
All this was done fighting Alergies, Bloody nose's, Weather and work. Hopefully I will have this all backtogether no later than next Saterday afternoon. Once the cable housing is fed correctly. The rest of assembly won't be to bad.

Made progress tonight. Got the new cable housing in and routed the way in needs to. Put the stearing back. Just need a carter pin. Got the exhaust elbo and riser cleand up and ready to go back in. The weather is supposed to be windy tomorrow so we will see what happens.

More progress. Got the stearing all together, Exhaust is back together, Shifter pivot remounted. Refilled power stearin pump(had to drain to remove hoses to move stearing system). Just need to set cable bellows, insert cable core w/shift slide and assemble the upper end and adjust, Once that is done the drive can go back on. BUT!!! looks like the weather is going to a pain in the arse tomorrow and saterday.
