I can tell you that I plan on being on the water by 2 pm, and starting the party from there. I wont be having any of this "getting there by dark" business. I have this really strange feeling that :sleep

Sorry to jump in here so late in the game but here's another option for Wifey and Miller. I'm not going to be home until Friday afternoon. I arrive into Long Beach Airport at 2:55pm. Then I have to get my luggage, my car, etc... I won't be home until at earliest 4pm.

Wifey & Miller, you two are more than welcome to stay at my place, it's in shambles (I had two 8yr olds here over the weekend and Doug's daughter last night & tonight)... but it's a bed (or two) to sleep in under a comfy roof close to everyone. If you want to come down Thursday night your more than welcome to stay at Hotel Mary

I have a cat that would love the company (Inga). (She's very spoiled... requires lots of love). KH's & Doug have keys to my place, they can let you in.

It's up to you... I'll leave towels out and clean sheets on the bed for you just in case (since I'm leaving at 4:30 am tomorrow for the airport). If you're interested give me a call... (I may not answer if I'm on site with a client, but if you leave a message with your number, I'll call you back as soon as I get a chance) ... sounded like an answering machine message huh?

If you should choose to stay at my place we will need to coordinate with someone to let you in. Doug works nights this week, but Knucklehead is off work for the rest of the week, I'm sure he'd help out if needed.

Either way... I'll see you all there late Friday night. :jumpie

Wifey, might as well roll with us if you can. Your directions get you VERY close to us anyway.

The major route difference is your directions call for traveling across the high desert on the I-40, which is how I usually go to Havasu. The OC Caravan will be traveling through the low desert on the I-10 and traveling North to Parker AZ, where about half of the peeps will stop for the rest of the day. I'll be continueing on to Havasu, though, to get a few hours in on the lake. Specifically at the famous sand bar. :good

We are trying to figure out if we'll hit too much traffic going down into Orange or if we are better off hooking up with 87 Cole at the 10/91 area?
