OK folks here is what I got on this mornings trip. Started out nice but as the morning went on it started to get rough probly from all the lake lice and the roll bar boats pulling tubers.  :D

This is the Baja I have been mentioning as the go Cart on Water. '94 185 Islander with a 4.3 and an Alpha drive

We cruised as far as wee could. Around to the left of the rock it gets real shallow and rocky to the dam that backs up Apache Lake.

The water seemed to be way up. If I'm not mistaken there used to be a nice sandy beach here basically between the pole and the bridge. Straight out from the pole was a HUGE rock that came out about halfway across to channel about 2 ft under water.

Sounds like a great day!  Not too much traffic from your pics, and the water was nice and calm too!

:good

I'm sure it was choppy in the canyon, the waves in there just bounce off the walls and come back at you!

If that rock up top is underwater, then I am sure that sandy beach is also....bummer....

Traffic wasn't to bad untill about 10am. then they were showing up in droves. buy 11:20 it was getting rough so we packed it in and headed home.

In the 5th post you can see a pontoon beached. I don't remember any kind of beach along there.

Debris was all over the place. what you think is a small piece of bark or something could be a branch. We saw logs about 5-6ft long and about 6-8 inches in diameter floating. There was what looked to parts of a wood'n fence floating near the bridge. We did a lot of dodging of crap.  :eek
