Weather permitting, I'll be going to Perris or Elsinore on Wednesday 4/9. DickDanger is talking about Perris that day so I can go for that. If he changes his plans, I'm open to Elsinore as well.

I won't be in any rush to get out there in the morning since I don't get home from work until 1:30 AM. I'm still not sure what lake yet. I'm awaiting DickDanger's post on hotboat.net. It's funny you commented on the baffles though because I've never been asked if my boat had them until I launched at Elsinore on Saturday. The marina, also, warned me that "the law" was on the water.

I can't recall ever being asked at Perris which is where DickDanger wants to go.

Perris is fairly close to DickDanger's house. My guess is it's about 10 miles from there.

Good deal. DickDanger said he would post tonight whether he was going on Wednesday or Tuesday. I can only go on Wednesday, but which lake really doesn't make a difference to me.

If my boat was running tip top I would make the drive to go hang out with you guys. But there is a good chance that my boat would probably stay on the trailer.

Actually, I'll have to take it easy with my boat. I'm getting a little vibration under throttle that's either the jet or the u-joint. I just don't want the u-joint to break and grenade through my glass. :eek

I think it's time to pull it and go through it, but not until after this trip.

We can usually get away without baffles at Elsinore, but not anywhere else.

Your suppose to run baffles in your headers on all Ca lakes.

Doug, I just completed the new engine. I'm up for Elsinore tomorrow. Can't run at Perris to loud. This would be a great breakin as the river trips start next week. Also let me know if your going as I'll be going single and it's easier with another peep as you know. Anybody want to go??? Who else is going to try and play sick and come back to work with a sunburn. Weather is going to be in the 80's
If it's Parris anybody have an extra set of baffels???

DickDanger and MandMVG will be at Perris tomorrow. I can get there between 10 and 11. Is Perris OK with you guys? As far as the baffles go, they actually asked me if I had them at Elsinore last Saturday.

I didn't change the board time because of those Arizona guys. :laugh

They didn't have a time change like we did. Here's how you can fix it though:

I spoke to the marina a couple of minutes ago and the said they don't bother you too much unless your boat is really loud. Or If you want I live right down the street from Bassett I can pick up a set for you. ($135.00) If they have them in stock.

I think I have a pair to use. Will know in about 2 hours. If not I'll take a chance or wait till the patrol isn't around the launch ramp. Hey, Thanks for the offer. Do you have baffles for your self??? Or you chancing it as you posted. My boat is very loud. Big cam and running close to 800 H.P.
