"Laphroaig" (single malt whisky) or "Glenlivet" (if Laphroaig is tough to find)

And as for Pop Tarts...he's a picky little pop tart :rotflmao

He'll only eat the "Cinnamon / Brown Sugar" pop tarts :rolleyes

What really works well, though, are the FRS radios. You can get a set just about anywhere for just a few dollars. HBjet currently has my other handheld, but I'm not in a hurry to get it back. They are CHEAP! When I convoy to the river with someone, we use those.

Also we probably wont be arriving until late Friday night. Will that be a problem? Or do we need to look into getting time off, to get there earlier on Friday, again too lazy to call and ask. lol :confused

Hey Scuba, San Antonio doesn't take reservations. First come first serve:) If the Millers get there early they can claim a chunk of shore for the group. I think it's around $25 or $30 per night. The north shore is pretty barren too. Mostly motorhome camping on the water. THere's bathrooms but usually they're a couple hundred yards from the water. They do have spots with water and electricity but they too are away from the water.

Scuba,

I donâ€™t think that you need reservations. We will try to get up there early and reserve space for everyone. You can show up anytime you like we will put up signs so you donâ€™t get lost.

I think that it is about $50 a weekend for camping and lake fees. Unless they have raised it this year.

There you go making up rules already. I was already searching E-BAY, for some pink trunks, (unless you prefer speedo's) Â to go with your pink snorkel. lol Â :bebe

Well I did my extended trip & $ forecast, and I am not too sure if we will be making it after all. Â

Â I know its not a lot of $, but we have a big 4th of July trip planned, and a family trip planned on July 30th. 2 Trips every 4-6 weeks is pretty much our limit. Â

We dont take out Angelisa (our daughter) that much, so I really dont want to give up on the Family weekend. We'll see what happens, we still have plenty of time. Â

For those of you that haven't been to San Antonio Lake it is a very nice place. Clean showers are available as well as a general store. Let's try and make this a memorable B-Day for the Miller & Wifey :good
