All CA lakes require mufflers in your headers. Some are more strict than others. We have been able to get away w/o em at Elsinore, but I suggest you bring them just in case.

Lord, please don't allow Knuckle head to get a ticket from ELSINORE COP at this event.  :(  Please see that this is the biggest event that Elsinore has seen in recent history so one single boat without mufflers won't stand out.

Sorry for the slow delay!  I have been distracted by my jobby jobs and family!

Elsinore is hit or miss.  Most of the time they don't hassle you unless you get obnoxious.  They may not even be on the lake, but since this event has gotten some air time at Hot Boat, I would say they are planning on going out at reffing the grudge matches.

On the flip side, I have seen them chase down a boat or two that was not that loud.  I think they were checking for other violations and they had gone slightly above 35 in the 35 zone.  I will be packing baffles, but running dry - I have the weaper holes plugged since I am tired of cleaning the inside of the boat from all the exhaust residue.

Well it looks like I will be running the Mastercrap.  Replacing the heads, cam, lifters, and cam gear drive.  Just a mild freshening up of the mighty mouse. :rolleys

I will still be up for some grudge matches as the Mastercrap is quick with a 330 HP LT1 Corvette 350.  And, it has a heater. :D

Was originally going to,  but the poor weather we had last week in my backyard/shop     Put me about 7-10 days behind, I'm trying to get the motor stuffed in this weekend and the pump is still an issue.
I'll have to get my name removed from the list. Shooting for end of March, first of April for completion date. Maybe the BBSP at Havasu will be do-able.

OK, it's official.  I got the weekend off for this event. :D ( Weekends off in my business are RARE! )  I'm actually taking a 3 day weekend starting Friday.  My bro has a home in Elsinore, so I'll be there!  :D

Yeah, definately! :D  I even go local mid-week to either Elsinore or Perris.  I usually have Wednesdays off. :)

When are you leaving for this event?  If you leave Saturday morning, maybe we can caravan?  I will be there Saturday AND Sunday.  I just don't know if I'm spending the night there or not.  It's so close that it shouldn't be a problem. :D
