I'm partial 2 Chevy's, this is a 2003 4wd 6.0 SS.I don't do serious off roading any more but some of the roads/ramps at the lakes I frequent make it nice to have 4wd  :good

Here's my guess. "DC" stands for "Douglas Commercial", which were letters given to commercial airliners built by the Douglas Aircraft Company. DC-3, DC-6, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, etc.

I don't know if that's it or not.  The one in my picture is painted in the "Ozark Airlines" livery, but the one in yours is close.  

Since we've know turned this into an aviation trivia thread (and considering the day), what was a DST??  Also, what was a Douglas Racer, and what was the difference between it and a DST ???

Well the DST/DC3 (Douglas Sleeper Transport) was a fourteen passenger luxury sleeper transport that was built for American Airlines on their non-stop New York-Chicago run but, I'll be damned if I can place the Douglas Racer!.. :angry  :stupid

Ok, since no one else has tried.  The Douglas Racer was the DC-2, the airplane the DST/DC-3 was based on.  By all accounts the DC-2 was a better airplane since it was lighter with approximately the same power (and we all know what that means).  The Douglas Racer moniker was held over for the passanger version of the DST... the 21 passenger DC-3.  

Also, most DC-3's weren't DC-3's, the vast majority were C-47's manufactured during WWII.
