Work has mandated that I get a new truck (breaks my heart  :D ) so here she is.  She's an 02 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 Duramax Diesel powered crew-cab long-bed.  The only drawback is, I'm in Phoenix and she's in Ohio.  Can't find any longbeds on this side of the country.  I've already got wheels picked out and the stereo is going to be phenominal, including an in-dash DVD player and monitor.  Gotta have movies for the long road trips...  :D

Nice truck Jordy, is it strictly work or personal to?

I like the Duramax, the transmission set-up is great on those.

They pay a vehicle allowance and mileage so I'll cover my expenses on that side of it, not to mention I was tricky in my financing so I get to write off the interest for my loan.

As far as colors, I've seen a couple yellow ones running around that look killer, however I think it would be a little bit of overkill with the yellow boat on the back.  I went looking knowing I didn't want white, didn't want black or another dark color as they look cool but suck to keep clean.  I was torn between the pewter and red, but found this one so pewter it is.  Grey leather interior though.  I'm pretty exited about the whole dealio.  :D :D: D

That is sweet!  :cool  I just wish I could have got something like that last year, but I have no financial incentive from work.  :angry  BTW, are you keeping your old truck?

No, I don't really need two crew cab pickups.  I was planning on keeping the old one and driving it for work while using the vehicle allowance to pay for the new one and just leave it hitched up to the boat, but that's not going to work as they want us to have new trucks.  So now I'm torn between selling my blue truck or just digging a hole in the back yard and burying her.  We've been through alot in the last 7 years you know...   :(

That's kind of my situation with my old truck.  I got my new truck 1 year ago, but haven't been able to let go of Christine yet.  Other than driving her around the block every once in awhile, I haven't really used her since I dropped off RTJas' bike in January.

I never did name the blue truck, but she has outlasted dozens of psychos that I've dated.   :love  :D

Unless car storage space is a concern, keep the ol' blue truck.

There's nothin' better than old dogs, old trucks, cold beer, and young women.  Not necessarily in that order though. :D

And besides, if you've had her that long, it would be like selling one of the family.

I'm not real keen on the '03 grilles so hence the '02.  As far as keeping the '94, that was my plan originally.  I was going to keep it for work and get a new one to keep hooked to the boat and ready to pimp in my spare time, but they want our trucks to be less than 7 years old and seeing how they are paying an allowance and mileage, I can't really argue with it.  So I guess I have to get a new truck.   :D  :cool

Now I sell the '94 and buy more toys...   :D

I just don't need two trucks at this point.  I need a truck and a 'vette, or a Camaro, or a Harley...   :D
