Well, it is actually a week old.  '03 Hemi, 4x4.  Does anyone else have one?  Was kind of wondering what kind of mileage I can expect towing?  Right now it is about 9mpg average.   :jumpie

Just made quick roundtrip to Parker and Havasu today with the new Dodge to deliver some parts for my new motor.  The Hemi is 345hp, 5 speed autotrans, and 4:10 rear end.  The trip average was 11.9mpg.  Ran it 70 to 75 mph for freeway speeds.  It really liked running at 70.  It really took of like a shot when I kicked it to pass a guy on 95 doing about 55.  I have had 1 ton with V-10, 3/4 and 1/2 ton with 5.9 and I like this the best so far.

9 MPG for a powerful gas engine like your Hemi isn't bad.
15 years ago it would have been 5 MPG.

At one time I thought the days of Muscle trucks were over,, good to see I was wrong, glad to see them back.

You're going to love it!! Glad for ya.

The problem with propane is the cylinder temps skyrocket and you can cause some real damage, like burning rings out, etc.  I've not heard anything really good about using it, that is, nothing that would make the potential damage outweigh the risks.

Not to mention, they go plenty fast without the propane.   :beer

I used Westin stepbars on mine. I think it took all of 20 min.s to install. No drilling or mods, they just bolt up to the cab mounts.
