And those were going into 2500 and 3500 series Ram trucks?  I've found the older Dana 70's and 80's to be damn near bulletproof...including 750hp/1500ft-lbs drag launching to 1.8x 60's at the drag strip in 11 second 1/4 mile full weight (6600#) trucks.

3500's mostly, the diesels were pretty good, we did swap out quite a few V10's though ;)

If I wasn't in California (or NJ) I'd rip all of that smog and computer crap right out of my cars and make them really run right :good  :D   What other states besides CA and NJ require smog checks? :confused

yeah thought the same thing. also A/C would be nice. My black el camino has never had that. already survived one hot summer in Havasu without A/C. but thinking now it would be nice to have... :stupid

Yeah I been here for 10 years with no A/C in one of my vehicles I bought new in Ca, didn't need it then, I have A/C in my dually though, it is nice to have when the monsoons are here!.. :good
