Thanks.
The "newness" has worn off now. Got a huge rock chip in the windshield yesterday. The shop will try to repair it, but if it's too big, they'll install a new one. I just hope it doesn't leak because it's a glue in. |
That sucks don't it especially when it's brand new!..

It's got a 525 hp Cummins ISX and putting 1,975+ lbs of torque to the wheels. Trans is a simple 10 speed overdrive Fuller Roadranger. |
And I bet you use it all too huh!..

You need to go get the Cummins programmer and remove the govener, then put a propane injection kit on it!

Damn smog controls makes the engine respond like shit in low range, so I usually start out in 4th low and skip to 6th high. It's the only way to get this tub moving at a decent rate. |
Yeah that sucks, can you still start off in 4th low when you're maxed out? How does it pull the hills with a 120,000lbs??

Fully loaded I can start out in 3rd low and can pull a 7% grade at 35 mph grossing 120,000 lbs.
Not too shabby, huh? |
That's pretty damn good!..

Thanks Doug. I actually had some Swift driver try to tell me I was over length this week and I was going to get a ticket. |
Well what do you expect from a Swift driver, you know those guys ain't too Swift!.. Â Â Â |
Yeah we call them "Not so Swift".We have informed all of our vendors to not ship any of our orders on them.I can't wait a week from the time they pick up a load in Plymouth,Utah to get to Tucson. |
That's funny, I worked for them three times doing the I10 Express(LA Phoenix), they called me within two weeks after I quit and promised me a deal I couldn't refuse, ok so I go along and go back right, well the promise lasts for about two weeks and them BAM they throw the worst shit runs on me that they could find, like going down town LA with a 53 footer and a long nose conventional in areas that were designed for horse and buggy and then sit for 6 hours waiting to get unloaded, and the a repeat to get loaded!. The third time I went back they told me "third time's a charm", well when I quit I told them "three strikes you're out" don't call again MOFO!..

that's a ton better than the guys climing up  Chiriaco Summit. I wish they ran that well. what are they thinking making a two mile an hour pass. |
Well I take it you haven't got a clue about truckin huh, I've pulled that hill more times that you can shake a stick at, and when you're maxed out and you come up on a rig that's going slower and you back off it's all over with, that's why you'll see a rig passing real slow, he's got it to the wood and that's as fast as he can go. And no matter what speed it is wheter it's 35mph or 50mph a two mile an hour pass is the same!..
