Ok that was fun :banghead 5 hour road trip.  :puke And I think I want to drive OTR :stupid  :rolleyes

Ran pretty good,  the ride was good, looks like its got a Goodwrench crate motor in it. Its got the all black motor with the black krinkle finish valve covers. Paint is new but the guy left most the dents and ran it through Mr Shieb. But it does have a 6 year warranty :laugh

Get it tagged this week, spend some TLC time with a few little things and get it ready for a New Years road trip :beer

About the same as my f350, hoping for 10-12 mpg :banghead Going to do a few bolt on mods, exhaust and air and maybe a throttle body spacer to pick up 1-2 mpg :drink

He gave me a new aftermarket chrome grille(its for sale), but I'm going to upgrade to GMC style with clear Euro lights. Alteza taillights are all ready on there way :D

454 TBI, He paid $4300 then painted it($600), bought a grille, headliner, shocks and new sunvisors.    I got it for alot less than that  :beer

Want one with the GMC shape but no emblem mount. From 1994-1999 I'm going to do the ole switcharo. All it takes is a few bumper fillers and presto its a 1999 ;) At least on the outside :)

Thought I was going to have to get it smogged again but it goes off the previous owners registration which was just renewed, one less thing to do. Should be cut and dry  :comp

the grill thats in it is a later model, 94 or later all ready. the 92's are flat on the rib with the bowtie. if that makes any sense? :D

Yeah... take a look at my 93 Blazer... it's got the "egg-crate" grill.  Yours is the 94 and later style.  

The GMC grills are completely different.  They have the body colored headlight/parking light surrounds with the "Oval-rectangle" looking grill opening.
