First road trip was great 85 mph== 16mpg not bad :good . not towing the boat, but towing I should get better than that. The speed will be much lower :rolleyes

The six speed is great, rpms are low, Engine is quiet, overall very smooth. But it is a 3/4 ton truck so the ride is some what more harsh than the Excursion if that can be possible.

Also with my son sitting in the rear center seat there are only 2 drink holders in the whole truck :stupid  :stupid .

In the ford I can touch 6 from the drivers seat plus there are 4 more in the truck. Chevy needs to rethink that :stupid

I was driving an extended cab dually so the larger truck was no big deal.
