[75 mph is about 1900 rpm with the 6 speed. and that number is true for my 7.3 also anything over 70 kills milage
75 is 2100 for me with my current setup. Most of the time I don't run around on the freeway anyways but when I do I pay for it if I push it. What gears did you get with yours Stingray?
3.73 and I ran it up then got it to traffic so that may not be accurite this weekend we are headed to the marketplace in OC so I'll have more freeway to play on.
But so far I'm happy as hell  Â
That's what I thought. Do they only offer 3.73-4.10 or are there other options now. I have the 4.10's and when I get a new one it will be 3.73's.
I don't know what they offer I was set on 3.73 for the highway, but 360 HP / 650 torque should pull most trailers at a lower rpm. my gross on any trailer is never more than 8K. milage VS. gross weight towing, I went for milage.

I've always heeded the recomendations listed in the sales brochure for the final screws ratios.
3.73 has a huge span and it was near max tow capacity until 4.10 was recomended "by the book".
Their is a really good quality diff shop in Pomona and neighbor had his final screws juiced up to 4.53's to compensate for his bigger oversized tires. Cost about $1800.
after 50 miles of freeway I got a good chance to se where the Tach. is.
At 70 it is around 1800/ 1900 RPM at 75 it runs at 2000 dead on. And the milage is about 15.5, but with 200 miles on the truck ,and only 50 miles on this avg. I would expect to see that go up.
Max trailer with that truck: 2500hd long bed crew cab diesel 3.73 is the only gear set showing to be offered is as follows.
From the hitch is 12,000#
Fifth wheel is 15,100 #
with a combined gross of no more than 22,000#
so if you are looking at "toy boxes" keep some of that in mind.
some of the larger fifth wheels can overload the the truck and the trailer without thinking
