It's supposed to hold up better. I.E. driving in really hot conditions can cause oil to break down The synthetic will tolerate the heat better.

It's more "slippery" also  better lubricating properties.
I will never own a car a million miles, and the ones I have rebuilt at 200K with proper oil changes look good.
also you still need to change the filter so you end up changing the synthetic at near the same rate as regular oil.
I'm not agianst it I'm just not really for it  |
I am typically really hard on sh!t,so when I get the chance I try and help out the equip.
