I know around town last I checked I was getting about 12.5 mpg. I have not checked on the road with or with out towing. Next time to Havasu i will try to remember to check it. I know If I mind my P's and Q's and travel 65 i can get to havasu on one tank and have about 1/8 tank left. 70 I make it to Parker with less than an 1/8 tank left.

Well, ya know it could very well be since that's the only one that I've driven so I don't have anything to compare it with. It did have power, it didn't know the difference up hill or down just that it took forever to get the power up, and if you need to get going quick, it didn't happen(scary on a two lane road when passing) and the tranny is the biggest slush box I've ever seen, a beat up old TH400 shifts better than that!. And it's pretty bad when you can't go much more than 100 mi in a brand new vehicle and you have to get out because your ass and back are so frikkin sore, I can go from here to LA non stop and not be sore at all!.. All I know is that thruck was the worst POS that I've driven in a long time, my old 73 dually is 10 times the truck that thing is!..

With ideal weather conditions, I made it to the Zoo from my house on 3/4 of a tank!..

Yeah, the best I could do was about 15mi out of Parker then I'd have to switch tanks, now I can go all the way to the Zoo and still have some left in one tank!..

Is it just me being a friggin' retard and not understanding this? 3/4 to a full tank to get from the PHX areas to Parker? That appears to be where many are from. That is terrible! I tow my boat from Highland, Ca. to Parker(205 mi each way) and back home on one tank(38 gals.) with my Ford 6.0 dually, usually driving about 74, and that's with 35" tires and not regearing. I make it to Parker towing my 40" toyhauler on just over 1/2 tank.

We're talking about a 454 on gas with a 20 gal tank, 9-10mpg!..

Sounds about right, with the overdrive I could make it into Parker and had an 1/8 of a tank left with the camper and towing the boat, that's right from my house!..
Of course that's with a reall shitty exhaust system which is being replaced Monday, should get a little better mileage after that!..

Oh, ok, big blocks! I was reading(skimming over) the D'max posts, and thought those ugly ass Isuzu trucks were junkier than I knew about! I've got 3 friends who have them, and they have all had the typical well known overheating problems with them while towing. All 3 are buried in their trucks and want out . I told them when they bought them, bowties are for little boys, and Allison is a girls name!
