Got the truck washed today and replaced the air filter with a K&N... :good  :cool

For some reason, the headlights come on, then go off, like some warning or sumptin... :stupid   Checked the doors, alarm, etc....

Any ideas..??

I have an '04 SuperCab w/5.4 V8.  Let me know how you like the K&N.  I was thinking of doing the same w/mine.  I would have to concur w/everyone so far and start w/the switch.  Good luck.

I fiddle farted around with the switch and got it to stop the intermittent on/off crapola.  Something in the daylight sensor I'm thinkin'... :stupid

It's the wife's daily driver (12 miles one-way) so it better not have a dead battery and not start, else I'm toast... :eek  :beat  :flamed  :D

The K&N was a simple swap, even though it's more of a 'cone' versus the stock paper filter.  Should give a few more MPG's...that's the plan anyway... :good
