Has anyone had any powder coating applied over chrome    :stupid
Thinking that may be a cheaper way to get black bumpers on the truck, rather than paint :good

Either way you go, they are going to need sandblasting first. Painting would probably be cheaper, but powdercoating will last longer......so in the long run, powdercoating would be my first choice.......

Powdercoat would be the better choice, chrome has to come off though!..

Powdercoat is $40 a bumper but striping the chrome is $95. And sandblasting is not an option on chrome :stupid So reversing the chrome process is the answer. just more than I wanted to spend :cool
