I think it's almost mandatory that the "edited" line be put in there personally.  

That way when the "flaming" (read that shit talkin) starts people can't go back and change what they say without any evidence..

That's a good point RD.  It kind of makes you think before you post. :D  The BoatXchange board is, also, an "Ikonboard" but there's no "edited by" line there.  I was kind of curious what everyone thought.  I, personally, like the line shown. Thanks for explaining your answer RD. :D
