Hel-wo

Sorry if this has been addressed, I tried looking but can't find any info.

Is it possible to automatically position to a new post when entering a thread?

When I've read a thread, then see there is a new post in it, I need to scroll, and/or select the last page, and kind of review which was the last post I read, to find the new one.

Is this normal or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks

Unless I misunderstand this, all you need to do is hit the "New Posts" button at the top of the page and all the latest posts will pop up!.. :stupid

Thanks GFR

But not exactly what I ment. That seems to give you the latest new post in all topics.

What I mean is....

If I read a topic which has 4 posts, then a day later there have been several new posts in the topic, when I open the topic, since post 4 was the last I read, I should automaticall be positioned at post 5 (newest post to me).

Does that make sense?
This is how it works in other forums I visit.

Ok gotcha, well you might try the "Topic Tracker" and see if that works, I don't see an option for that in the control panel?, maybe Doug knows of a setting for that!.. :stupid
