Waxapples kicked ass last night at the Gypsy Lounge! :good

My suggestion to everyone is to go to the waxapples.com site and join the mailing list.  That way you can read about a gig near you. Everyone needs to see this group! :good

4 bands played.  They were The Politicians, The Heroines, Waxapples,and The County Stars.

The Politicians are an Orange county punk band whose music I enjoyed very much. :good I'll see them again anytime. :D   The Heroines were interesting, but I was anxious to see Waxapples. :good  Rather than seeing the last band, I chatted outside with Marcus and his wife, then went home since I had to get up at 5 AM. :eek

It was good to see you Doug :D   We were very pleased with the turnout.  Lots of people freaking out is always a good time.

You liked the Politicians huh?  Theyr'e cool.  Kinda the Clash meets Green Day :good  

I just found out we'll be at the CAT CLUB in Hollywood this Sunday night.  It's a cool little club run by Slim Jim Phantom, drummer from the Stray Cats.  It's the only place we'll play in Hollywood because it lacks the typical bs you find in all the clubs up there.

We also just got confimation on a couple nights in Vegas.  The Palms and the House of BLues.  Novemeber 10th and 11th.  Then we go to Mammoth for opening day on November 13th.

We'll probly do another Gypsy Lounge show before the end of the month so I'll letcha know about that.

Also, last but not least, we're getting limited radio play on indie 103.1  -  If you're listening to 103.1 you know how cool the station is.  PLEASE call the station and request WaxApples!!!

Phoenix is a possibility.  We just need to get set up at a venu.  RIght now we're working a couple local markets but hopefully we'll expand soon.

Ya know ;)  my kid is the Arts and Entertainment editor for our JC (Pima Community College) here in Tucson. He plays some lead and is trying to learn the Blues Harp(boy am I glad he moved out before that :laugh ) Maybe I can get you guys some print down here in Tucson.
