Well, Sony has quit marine Audio.
Any makers that have been around a while, and look like their in marine audio for the long run?

I want to go to wired remotes,,, and a reliable head unit company.

OUCH....

Can't help you with the stereo dilema but I can empathise with cutting my foot at the lake...

I was beaching the boat at Powell one time when the lake was low. Pulled around a corner from the motorhome where there was little sand and pulled the boat up. Hopped out and started towards the motorhome... when... OUCH!!!!... I sliced a good 2 inches in the bottom of my foot on a glass bottle...

I don't know how I kept it from getting infected, ruined the whole weekend.

clairion makes a wired remote but it is nearly twice the size. Looking for the some options myself ???

Although it is not marie Alpine has one of the best head units, that is what I have in my boat. Also there is a newer company out called Fusion audio that has a marine brand. I am going to put some of their speakers in my boat. Finally one of the best speaker brandsa around JL audio has a marine brand. Curently in my boat I am running the Alpine head unit With JL 6x9's X 4 and JL 10" subs X 2. It sounds great. :good
