Feel really safe from a major attack by Martians? It might be more realistic than people think.
A new version of the Orson Welles 1938 radio drama version of the classic H.G. Wells book, “War of the Worlds†comes back to life as the aliens from the red planet attack Mohave County -- knocking out the lights in Laughlin, destroying the London Bridge in Lake Havasu and shutting down I-40 (those pesky ETs don’t know when to quit.)
Lake Havasu actors David Morgan, Sr. and Rod Lockman lead the way dramatically as an astronomy professor and a mysterious antagonistic survivor face a new world. The scary one-hour drama can be heard on KZUL and KRCY Tuesday, October 31st (Halloween) at 9pm.
It’s a completely new version and listeners are dared to turn out the lights and hear it all (keep a flashlight handy.)
